Provenance is always a bonus with antiques, and this chandelier has a dazzling past. It was installed in the Knightsbridge Palace Hotel in 1911. One of a set of five, these chandeliers would have illuminated the opulent Art Nouveau foyer to welcome guests. Sadly this hotel has been redeveloped into a sprawling contemporary complex, so this interior is now lost forever…
